Ok, I know it's beena long time since I last updated, but so much has happened and this is just a quickie.

I worked for Lego for a while, made a couple new Chaotic Computers, and even a customized Flash drive, and found new full time employment.

I also entered two of the Chaotic Computers into a modding contest, and both made it into the final 15. So go to the MSI website and vote for me!

Piece of cool news this week. Yoshi from TechTV saw my Biker Scout PC and asked me to be on The Screen Savers.

Will I trek out to the left coast to appear on national tv? Stay tuned.

Last weekend, I went to Otakon to check out some Japanese cinema and to promote Chaotic Computing. I couldn't get a table in Artists' Alley, so I just hung out, watched some films, and networked.

First flick I was was Ong-Bak. It was a bad ass Thai film with a thin plot. Just amazing fighting, great chase scenes, good sense of humor, and a thin plot. Reminiscent of older Jackie Chan films to me.

Battle Royale is one of my absolute favorite movies, so I had to sit through Battle Royale 2 after Ong-Bak. Wow. What a mistake. The director of BR died during the production of BR2, and the movie turned out to be a complete mess. Conflicting themes, a "reminiscence" mid-movie that draws the entire movie to a halt, and a plot that makes no sense. A complete waste of time.

I tried to watch the latest Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman, but absolutely abyssmal service at Edgar's Billiard Club. We stopped in there because one of our group said there were good burgers there, and it was right by the Inner Harbor. Unfortunately, First 2 meals came out, then a third. As those three dishes were being completed, my burger was served, and then the waitress realized she didn't put in the fifth order. So after I finished, the other burger was finally brought out a while later. The food was ok, but not worth a couple hours of my time.

Saturday evening, a Japanese J-Pop/J-Rock band called L'Arc En~Ciel performed. And they put on a hell of a show. It was interesting to see how a Japanese performance compared to an American one. Although it was their first time performing on American soil, the American influences in their guitar driven sound were fairly evident. Plus I can't remember the last time I saw a bass solo like that.


And for those who keep up with the last Chaotic Computing happenings, the Biker Scout PC made its premier at Otakon, even if I couldn't display it at a table.
