While watching the Yankee game last night, I decided to put in a little more practice with the Wacom Intuos2 tablet. It's cute, it's lovable, it's got an afro!
Yanks are now tied 2 games a piece with the Florida Marlins. What's up with that? Too bad Roger Clemens couldn't get a win for his final start. I expect him to pitch an inning or two to make a final appearance here in New York before he retires.

So I recently got one of those Wacom Intuos2 tablets because of all the Flash I've been doing, plus I do quite a bit of Photoshopping. Well, during last night's Yankee game (Yankees kicked ass, but Aaron Boone dropped the fucking ball and cost Andy Petite his complete game shut out), finally used it to do a drawing. This is taken from a character design I drew last week for a future Flash movie. (Sorry, I don't post pre-production details of original productions so that I don't see them elsewhere first)
A few change to make and a few things I think will improve when I get better with the Wacom tablet, but we'll see how the project progresses...

I spent yesterday feeling fairly ill, so I went home from work, had some dinner and took a nap. The only think keeping me from sleeping through the night was Game 7 of the American League Championship Series. Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees. It's been an exciting series so far, and there was no way I was going to miss this game. Of course, just as I'm really starting to need medication and sleep... EXTRA INNINGS!
But thanks to Aaron Boone, we're going to the World Series!

And I celebrated by calling Jennie and doing a shot of nyQuil.
I feel so much better today, that we're going out to celebrate the new job by going for sushi. Mmmm... sushi... (Hey, can't afford to celebrate till ya get that first paycheck!)

I caught part of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy recently (I really do like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, I just happened to not be watching it that day, just happened to flip to it) and heard one of the tips at the end of the show.
The tip was "a cellphone is not an accessory, so don't wear it on your belt." And I can't agree more. A cell phone isn't bling bling or anything like that. If you're not talking on it, throw it in your pocket. Cell phones are ubiquitous. Everyone has them, you don't need to show yours off. Throw it in your pocket like a civilized person.
So, if one of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy guys says it, it must be cool, so put your cellphone away!

Now, I'm not sure I know the appeal of how to get black people to like you when you're a whitey prick as a google search, and I'm not sure why people would search for how to get black people to like you when you're a whitey prick, but it seems Gwen really wants people to know that she's a whitey prick that wants black people to like her.
I guess it's a lofty goal to have, but one day, maybe Gwen will truly know via google how to get black people to like you when you're a whitey prick. I don't know about you, but I shall watch Google for future developments on "how to get black people to like you when you're a whitey prick."

Sure, you're probably looking here asking "Where's Jon? When's he going to impart his next nougat of wisdom?" (MMMmmm..... nougat) Well, I've been busy.
First, we have the second Flash movie in a series, my RFW promo. I think it's neat. And yes, I know about the mouth. I promise the mouth will look better in the future.
And secondly, I've joined the Web Dev team of a pharmaceutical company. It's nice to be working again, but I don't know about this tie thing. Guess I need to go clothes shopping. We didn't need ties in the dot com sector.
And for those of you who keep asking me about Bittorrents, be sure to upgrade to Bittorrent 3.3. Faster, more efficient and all around more fun.
School of Rock - good flick. Went to the sneak preview last Sunday and it was just a real fun flick. Go see it now!
