Spent a four day weekend at Lake George with my lady and her friends. Nice, relaxing weekend. Hung out by the pool, played some mini-golf, wandered around the village and other things of that ilk. Nice and relaxing, when people weren't complaining... generally about situations of their own making... I just need to remember where I leave my sunglasses whenever I sit down.

There were three mini-golf courses that I saw up there. Two "pirate" mini-golf courses that just looked like small greens. Those courses always are so lame because it's 18 holes of the same thing over and over. The third course was "Goony Golf," and of course that was the one we played. Lots of funky things like Alice in Wonderland holes, animal holes, and the essential windmill. Her friends spent Saturday waiting in lines and generally hating the local amusement park (we weren't going to pay $40 each to go to Six Flags on a Saturday), and we had a lot of fun for a lot cheaper. And in case you were wondering, I beat Jenn by 19 strokes.

Remember, it isn't mini-golf without a windmill.

I'm often amazed what comes up in Google searches. Aya got herself them funky Cyclops sunglasses (Oakley Juliets). Seems that there's so few pages that containt Cyclops sunglasses, people are finding her blog. Imagine if she'd optimized for it. She could have a chance of ranking higher than IGN. (ok, IGN has a higher Google ranking, so fat chance)
